Terms of Service
Delta Appliance Repair provides professional appliance repair and home services to homeowners, condominium residences, and real estate professionals throughout Pinellas County and the surrounding areas. As a veteran-owned, high-touch service business, we prioritize clear communication, professional standards, and respectful service. By scheduling service or engaging with our team, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
Service Visits & Diagnostics
A service visit includes professional evaluation, troubleshooting, and diagnostic assessment of the reported appliance issue. Diagnostic services are billed per visit and reflect technician expertise, travel time, and scheduling commitments.
The standard service visit fee is $125.
If repair work is approved, diagnostic fees may be applied toward the repair at our discretion. Once a technician is dispatched and work has begun, service visit fees are earned and non-refundable.
Handyman & Home Services
In addition to appliance repair, Delta Appliance Repair provides select handyman and home services related to appliance installations, replacements, mounting, venting, and light residential improvements. Handyman services are scheduled intentionally and may require additional coordination, materials, or approvals depending on scope and property requirements.
Pricing for handyman services varies based on the nature of the work, time required, and materials involved. Estimates or approvals may be required prior to commencement of work.
Scheduling & Service Arrival Periods
Services are scheduled using Service Arrival Periods rather than exact arrival times. This approach allows flexibility for travel conditions, diagnostics, and coordination requirements. Estimated arrival timing will be confirmed prior to the visit when possible.
We schedule intentionally to ensure each customer receives appropriate time and attention.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Delta Appliance Repair carefully schedules each service visit to accommodate multiple customers. Short-notice cancellations or rescheduling can impact other scheduled appointments and availability.
Cancellations made within one hour of the scheduled service arrival period may result in the full service visit fee being charged. Cancellations made outside this window will not incur a fee.
Condominium & HOA Properties
Where applicable, services performed in condominium or HOA-managed properties are subject to building operations, access procedures, and scheduling requirements outside of our control.
Delays, access limitations, or rescheduling caused by building operations are not the responsibility of Delta Appliance Repair. Additional time, coordination, or return visits required due to building procedures may be billed accordingly.
Parking & Access
Standard parking for service visits is typically handled by Delta Appliance Repair. However, when building rules, city regulations, or the scope of work require designated loading zones, restricted access areas, or special parking for equipment, materials, or merchandise, any associated fees or assessments required by the property or municipality may be the responsibility of the customer, at the discretion of the governing authority.
Discounts
Discounts for veterans, active-duty military members, and seniors may be available. Valid identification may be requested at the time of service. Discounts cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
Promotions & Offers
Promotions, giveaways, or special offers may be available periodically and are subject to individual terms and conditions. Participation in promotions does not modify standard service terms unless explicitly stated.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Additional labor, parts, return visits, or expanded scope work will be invoiced accordingly.
Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, or government actions, scheduled service may be delayed or canceled. In such cases, any applicable cancellation fees will be waived, and communication will be provided as promptly as possible.
Licensing, Insurance & Professional Coverage
Delta Appliance Repair is a licensed and insured service provider. We maintain appropriate general liability and workers’ compensation insurance and meet service requirements for residential, condominium, and managed properties. Proof of insurance is available to property managers or building associations upon request.
